Socio Economic Expert, Eptisa India Pvt Ltd, (December 2017 to March 2018) for the study on Tripura Forest Environment Improvement and Poverty Alleviation Project funded by JICA – Phase 1 and Natural and Socio Economic data collection and Village Survey .

Raktima has served as the Key Research Team Member of IBRAD under the EU funded project Operationalisation of Natural Capital and Ecosystem Services (OpenNESS, Dec 2012 – May 2017). The project was implemented with a consortium of 34 research institutions from Europe, Africa and Latin America and India to develop methodology on assessing the Natural Capital and Ecosystem Services and community engagement for its conservation. IBRAD was one of the members in the consortium.

Also served as the Key Research Team member for the project on Ecosystem Services and Poverty Alleviation (2010-11) funded by NERC

Key Research Team Member of IBRAD for impact assessment of the project on Medicinal, Aromatic and Dye Plants: Organic and certified collection, production through In Situ Conservation and Management: Pilot Testing and Development in Dhamtari Forest Division, Chattisgarh (2007)

Capacity Development Specialist, Nippon Koei India Pvt. Ltd, (August 2013 – March 2014) – Developed capacity building strategy, plan and modules for training of forest department officials and community members for participatory management of forest resources, preparation of microplans at village level, participatory skills etc.

Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, The Louis Berger Group, Inc (September2011 – December 2012) – Developed the protocols for monitoring and evaluation for JICA funded Sikkim Biodiversity Conservation and Forest Management Project, preparation of project log frame, develop criteria and indicators for monitoring the functioning of community constitutions and their impact on natural ecosystems.

Consultant to design Hybrid Distance Learning Course on Water Quality Issues jointly with Addis Ababa University at Meta Meta Communication, The Netherlands (2007- 2008).
